SEMINAR HELPS NOVICE WRITERS GET STARTED ON A NOVEL

Melbourne, Australia Those keen writers who have made a New Year’s Resolution to write a novel can take a big step towards keeping that resolution with the Writers’ Resource Centre’s seminar on Saturday February 2 in Melbourne.

Suitable for the complete novice, amateur who wants to hone skills, or any beginner writer who wants to come up with an idea for a novel, this one-day seminar is an ideal start to the year. Aspiring novel writers will receive tips and advice, and workshop story ideas. The Novel Starter seminar gives writers an opportunity to come up with an initial idea and workshop that idea during the day. The sessions also include writing techniques, a plot plan and character-creation tips.

The newly established Writers’ Resource Centre has been set up to equip novice and more experienced writers with all they need in their writing journey. The Resource Centre draws from established authors and other publishing experts. The Novel Starter Seminar will be run by the principal contributors to the Writers Resource Centre, crime author Anthony Santoro and Smink Works Books publisher Suzanne Male.

Located at Level 10, 608 St. Kilda Road Melbourne, the seminar will run from 8.30am until 5pm. The cost of the seminar is $125. Attendees will also receive a take-home work book.
