Why
do I need marketing?
Online
marketing is becoming increasingly important for the author/writer.
While it is getting easier for people to buy books, particularly
more obscure works, via online stores like Amazon, buyers
need to know about you and your book before they will buy.
This makes having a Website imperative, firstly. Then marketing
is needed to drive readers to your site and tell them about
your book.
The Internet represents an incredible opportunity for authors.
With the right marketing tools you can find readers/buyers
that would have been otherwise difficult to reach. The Internet
has allowed authors to publish their own works without the
need for a big publisher, and find markets all over the
world.
What
will this marketing do for me?
These
marketing book boosts will increase your book's profile
on the Internet and bring attention to your Website, if
you have one. However, please note that marketing and promotion
is an ongoing task and while these book boost packs are
a very good start, they should not be seen as a complete
solution.

How
do I know that payment is secure?
Payment is organised through the internationally renowned
Paypal payment system. This is a secure system. However,
you should never give your user name and password to anyone,
particularly when requested in an email.

What
happens when I buy?
Payment is handled through the Paypal payment system. You
do not need to be a member to use your credit card, however
you do need to be in one of the Paypal approved countries.
Following payment, you will be redirected to a download
link. You download a zip file that contains a Word document
(.doc) with a form you need to fill out and either fax or
email to Smink Works. If you lose the download link, don't
worry, the link will be emailed to you as well, and lasts
24 hours. If you are unable to download the zip file, please
contact us as soon as possible.
I have forwarded my information and
the form, what next?
A Smink Works person will contact you by email. Please note
that if you do not hear from someone from Smink Works within
two business days, please email/fax/phone, in case your
email has got lost in spam, etc.
The
download link didn't work, what do I do?
Please contact us as soon as possible and we will email
the file to you.
