Alfredo
Karras’s cartoons win pages of the Metropole

The Metropole newspaper now has the intelligent and good-humored
drawings of cartoonist Alfredo Karras. With vast experience
since 1992, his work has appeared in many newspapers of the
coast of São Paulo, including the Jornal da Câmara
de Cubatão, Gazeta de Praia Grande, O
Cubatense, Polícia Sem Censura (creating
artistic impressions of criminals), Povo de Cubatão and Voz do Comércio.
L ast year, he appeared on the TV show Cidade contra Cidade (City Against City), presentated by Otávio
Mesquita in the Rede Bandeirantes (Bandeirante’s Channel),
defending the São Vicente’s city in a caricature
contest.
Karras also expresses his artistic gift in literature. With
the book Ser, which is also published in English
with the name Be, he was the first Brazilian to have
a published book on the Internet by a foreign publisher. Classified
